A handcrafted, fully handmade shadowbox frame, cast, painted, and gilded by hand to achieve an antique, baroque-inspired finish.
The composition features a mothl specimen set against deep black velvet. The glass front enhances depth while protecting the piece. The frame itself is richly ornamented, including a sculpted skull detail, adding to its gothic character.
Inside, the arrangement is completed with preserved red or burgundy roses, miniature decorative skulls, and a metal nameplate engraved with a Latin species name.
